About Longfellow Guitars

Longfellow Guitars first came into being in the early 2000s. It began life when Peter Longfellow, then a metalworker aiding the students at the Royal College Of Art, decided to build a guitar for himself to play in the workshop. One became two, two became four and before long, people were asking to buy them. Although some of these early ones could be hit-or-miss, Peter has spent the past two decades honing the process of producing the striking, distinctive and quality products they are today.

Peter was joined in early 2020 by his son, Tom who has learnt the craft of making these guitars and, together with his other son Ronnie, are endeavouring to push the business forward.

Longfellow Guitars have been exhibited and sold in many places, most notably NAMM Summer Show, The UK Guitar Show, The London Guitar Show and many reputable guitar shops.

The guitars are made typically hollow bodied and made from aluminium which gives them a distinctive look, tone and resonance. The body shapes vary from the ubiquitous, classic shapes to the stylish, unique pieces that never fail to catch the eye.
